The Print Estimating and Job Planning role has become available due to the retirement of our incumbent Estimator and Planner.

 

The Role

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely print quotations. Estimate and quote enquiries received by new and existing customers, offering alternative methods/solutions where applicable. 
• Price all production work using proven standards, ensuring the profitability for all jobs, and estimate non-standard work in conjunction with the Operations Manager. 
• Convert accepted quotes into jobs and plan for the most productive method for manufacturing work
• Process customer orders by planning the job and engage with the Account Manager as necessary through these processes. Processing order from quote to job/planning phase
• Develop knowledge of best suppliers and competitive prices, staying abreast of pricing changes.
• Facilitate outside suppliers quotes and purchase orders, specifications and delivery dates
• Arrange and prepare supplier purchase orders purchases. Maintaining relationships with suppliers.
• To document, maintain data, info, specifications, pricelists of the suppliers used.
• Maintain customer/supplier data in the CRM

• Proven performer in process-based activity
• Attention to detail and methodical in nature.
• Strong competency in Office suite
• Competency in Quote & Print software, highly desirable
• Energetic, agile and vibrant person who wants to be a part of our team.
• Can-do attitude where output is an expected performance criteria.
