About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Plumber and Gas Fitter to join our team at Neighbourhood Plumbing and Gas PTY LTD' in Balcatta, WA. This is a full-time role where you will learn the trade and work alongside experienced plumbers to install, maintain, and repair plumbing, gas, and drainage systems for residential and commercial properties.

What you'll be doing

• Assist qualified plumbers in performing a range of plumbing and gas fitting tasks, including installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes, fixtures, and appliances
• Develop skills in operating plumbing tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Participate in on-the-job training and attend tafe to complete your plumbing and gas fitting apprenticeship
• Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients to understand their needs
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and vehicle

What we're looking for

• Commitment to completing a 4-year plumbing and gas fitting apprenticeship
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work in confined spaces
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A valid driver's licence
• The ability to work in a team and follow instructions
