ACT Stainless steel is a well-established local company based in Fyshwick, but work all over Canberra and parts of NSW. Our business is continuing to grow and we are looking to add 1 new Apprentice. 

This is a great opportunity for a hardworking individual who has shown an interest in welding or sheet metal work at school, in their current role, in their spare time or if you’re just looking to start a career.

 

About the Business: 

Here at ACT Stainless Steel we specialise in Custom Stainless Steel and Commercial Kitchen Fitouts. 

We manufacture and supply and install commercial kitchens, architectural items and general/custom stainless steel fabrications. 

 

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold a Drivers Licence
  • Have a White Card and Asbestos Awareness Certificate (preferred but not essential)
  • Be self-motivated with strong work ethics
  • Be comfortable with basic skills such as reading a tape measure, cutting tube and general labouring
  • Have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Be punctual and reliable
