Underground HD Fitter

Scotford Fennessy is recruiting skilled Heavy Duty Fitters for an exciting new underground project with one of Australia’s leading gold producers.

• Rosters: Choose between 7:7
• Pay: $85/hr + super on all hours, paid weekly
• Direct Employment: Work directly with an owner-operator mining site

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled services, minor rebuilds, and preventive maintenance on underground equipment
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve equipment issues effectively
• Identify, interpret, and repair reusable parts and accessories
• Meet tight deadlines in a fully equipped workshop
• Thrive in a dynamic, multicultural team environment

What You’ll Need:

• Trade Certificate in Mechanical/Mobile Plant (recognized in Australia)
• C-Class Driver’s License
• National Police Clearance (valid within the last 12 months)
• Recent, proven experience with underground mining equipment (highly regarded)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently when needed
