About the role

Remarkable Joinery Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team in Molendinar, Queensland. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the production of high-quality, custom-made joinery and cabinetry. 

What you'll be doing

• Interpreting and translating architectural designs and customer specifications into detailed production plans
• Selecting and preparing appropriate materials for each project
• Operating a range of woodworking machinery and tools to fabricate, assemble and finish custom cabinetry and joinery items
• Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the production process
• Collaborating with the design and project management teams to resolve any technical challenges
• Providing input and recommendations to improve production processes and efficiencies
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Cabinet Making or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Cabinet Making
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker in a commercial or high-end residential setting
• Proficient in the use of woodworking machinery, including table saws, routers, sanders and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce high-quality work
• Good problem-solving skills and the flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A commitment to workplace health and safety procedures
• Must have own tools
