YOUR ROLE

• Permanent position (full time)

• Competitive rate + overtime available (weekly pay)

• Start ASAP

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a safe working environment

• Interpreting shop-drawings to determine timber requirements

• Selecting, dressing, and profiling timber 

• Maintaining tooling / tool profiles

• Machine maintenance

• Assembly of doors and frames 

• Installation of door and window hardware / fixings

• Continuous improvement of work practices to improve safety, efficiency and quality

Selection criteria for this position:

• Trade qualified Joiners/Cabinet Maker required with at least 3 years' experience

• Maintain a high standard of work

• Be able to work alone or as part of a team with minimal supervision

• Be able to problem solve

• Have excellent time management skills

• CNC experience is highly desirable

• Ability to understand shop drawings

Timber machining skills we're looking for in our ideal candidate include:

• Dimensioning: Radial Arm Saw, Band Re-Saw, Beam Saw and Panel Saws

• Dressing: Jointers, Thickness Planer, 6 Head Moulder

• Profiling: 6 Head Moulder, Spindle Moulders

• Ability to grind and profile tooling is desirable
