DIESEL MECHANIC / DIESEL FITTER

BDS Mechanical PTY LTD currently has permanent positions available for Diesel mechanics & Diesel fitters to join our team. These are full time positions located within our branches throughout QLD or FIFO to WA, SA or NT. The type of work includes workshop based, field service and site based (depending on your preference.) We have various roster options to suit all lifestyles such as: Local Mon - Fri, DIDO/FIFO 1/1, 2/1, 2/2. A perfect opportunity to join a large, secure, reputable company.

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a privately owned, growing business that offers mechanical, auto electrical and welding repairs both in house and onsite with 22 fixed workshop locations throughout Queensland. We have over 150 field service units and the team at BDS cover over 600,000 km2 of Queensland, meaning we’re never too far away. 

The successful candidates will possess the following:

• Relevant Trade Qualification

• Diagnostic experience

• Good communication skills

• Highway truck or heavy earthmoving experience a bonus

• Strong fault finding skills

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous
