Advance Rigger

ADVANCE RIGGER – V&D Engineering Services Pty Ltd | $50 per hour | FIFO or Karratha Local | Mobilising 20th April

V&D Engineering is recruiting a Qualified Advanced Rigger to join our team in Karratha Northwest, mobilising on the 20th April.

This role involves assisting with the installation of piping supports, structural installation, anchor blocks, working closely with the Crane Operator and Mechanical Team to execute safe and precise lifts. The successful candidate will ensure all rigging equipment is properly inspected and used in line with site lifting procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced rigging duties to support lifting operations.
• Interpret lift plans and provide expert guidance on load handling.
• Inspect and operate rigging equipment in compliance with site safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and the mechanical team.
• Support pipework and structural installation when not engaged in rigging activities.
• Identify and mitigate lifting risks, always ensuring safe operations.

  4 hours paid travel each way
• Flat rate of $50 per hour
• 12hrs Working hours per day

What We’re Looking For:

• Advanced Rigger License (RA) & High-Risk Work License
• Proven extensive experience in rigging, slinging, and dogging in an industrial setting
• Strong understanding of lifting techniques, safety protocols, and hazard identification
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with pipework installation (preferred)
• Ability to work in a remote environment and adapt to changing site conditions
• A proactive safety mindset and strong team-oriented work ethic.
• Experienced in Structural Steel Erection is highly desirable.
