Boilermaker

Our valued client is an established light engineering business providing design, project management, fabrication and installation services across various industries. They are seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to join their team for workshop and site installations. 

What the role entails: 

• Fabricating products from mild steel, stainless and aluminum material. 

• Welding steel via MIG, TIG and stick welding. 

• Utilizing and maintaining tools, plant and equipment. 

• Adhering to QA and WHS requirements. 

• Contributing technical expertise for continual process improvement. 

What you can bring to the role: 

• Trade qualifications or the equivalent skills and experience. 

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. 

• Ability to pass a weld test. 

• Great attention to detail and commitment to quality work. 

• Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills. 

• A current driver’s license. 

• Be proactive in all facets of safety. 

• Be reliable and possess a strong work ethic. 

 

This is a casual position from April to May but could extend longer based at our client’s workshop at Wingfield.  

Ordinary hours are Monday to Friday with overtime available based on workflows.
