Plasterer

Moxie Construction is seeking an experienced and dedicated Plasterer tradesman to join our team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will be able to work both independently and, in a team, to produce high quality work. Your attention to detail and ability to deliver will contribute to the overall success of our projects. 

About us

We are an insurance and multi trade builder specialising in rebuilds and repairs of insurable dwellings. We handle storm, flood, fire, and impact damages. A large percentage of our work is on existing residential houses spanning from North Sydney to South Coast NSW. 
With over 25 years in the Insurance building sector , we are a growing company and looking to grow our team over the next 12 months. 
 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Removal of old plasterboard sheets when required.
• Installation of plasterboard walls, ceilings and cornice, ornate cornice and detail plaster work where required.
• Liase with clients with professional and warm manner
• Provide daily job updates to business owner
• Work effectively to meet required timelines
• Work with other trades people as well as independently when required
• Take and follow instructions laid out by supervisor
• Measure up jobs and perform inspections of both upcoming and completed work

Experience and attributes

• Minimum 12 months post apprenticeship experience
• Certificate III in Solid Plastering 
• Experience in Residential and Commercial Building 
• Driver’s license
• Current White card
• Your own basic tools
• Neat and tidy personal presentation and professional manner with customers
• Motivated approach to work with a team as well as unsupervised
• Keen attention to detail
• Being an all rounder or a ‘Jack of all trades’ is advantageous
