Key Responsibilities

  • Cut, prepare, and package various cuts of meat (beef, lamb, pork, poultry, etc.) with precision and care
  • Work directly with our in-house processed beef, ensuring it meets the highest standards and showcasing the quality of our product
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace following food safety and hygiene standards
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers to offer advice on meat selection and preparation, while reflecting our ethos in your interactions
  • Ensure all products are stored properly and manage stock levels, always keeping sustainability in mind
  • Assist with inventory and ordering supplies
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working order

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a qualified butcher, with an understanding of different cuts and meat preparation techniques
  • A deep understanding and appreciation of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Exceptional knife skills and the ability to work with various equipment with care and precision
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to reflect our commitment to quality in every customer interaction
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team, sharing in the pride of our products and processes
  • A passion for high-quality, ethically raised meat and a genuine desire to contribute to our paddock-to-plate philosophy
