NDK Constructions is a growing South Australian construction company delivering projects across the aged care, insurance, commercial and residential sectors.

We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join our team and play a key role in delivering a diverse range of projects throughout Adelaide.

We're looking for a practical leader who can take ownership of projects, lead by example and help drive quality outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise carpenters, subcontractors and other trades on site

  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities and site operations

  • Undertake carpentry works (second fix), where required

  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard

  • Read and interpret plans, scopes and project documentation

  • Coordinate materials, labour and subcontractors

  • Liaise professionally with clients, facility managers and residents

  • Identify and resolve issues as they arise

  • Maintain site records and communicate project progress to management

  • Promote a positive and professional site culture

About You

You are an experienced carpenter who enjoys leading others and takes pride in delivering quality work.

You will have:

  • Trade qualification in Carpentry

  • Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience (preferred)

  • Strong all-round carpentry and building knowledge

  • Ability to coordinate multiple trades and site activities

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability

  • High attention to detail

  • Current driver's licence

  • White Card

  • Own tools
