A great opportunity has opened for a motivated and experienced Mechanical HVAC Estimator to join our team.


About the Role:

Reporting to the Director, you will play an integral role within the functions of the company in preparing tender submissions for commercial HVAC construction projects up to $10M.


As Mechanical HVAC Estimator, you will be responsible for:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and sub contractors.

  • Review, prepare and submit tender pricing in accordance with technical specifications and documentation

  • HVAC/Mechanical engineering design assistance.

  • Manage tender email inbox and ensure all inbound correspondence is actioned.

  • Attend site inspections/tender meetings as required.

  • Liaise with suppliers and sub contractors in obtaining quotes and pricing.

  • Provide technical advice to project managers, supervisors, and extended team.

  • Prepare project information for new jobs to hand over to Project Manager.


Experience Required:

  • Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Certificate III) or equivalent practical HVAC background, highly regarded

  • Minimum 5 years experience in HVAC estimating

  • Engineering Qualification (Mechanical) - preferred

  • Strong understanding of the HVAC industry eg systems, materials and installation

  • Proficiency in planning, organizing, and working to tight timelines and schedules.

  • Strong computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office Suite. Essential: Word/Excel/Outlook

  • Clear understanding of relevant Australian Codes and Standards, as well as OH&S Codes and Standards
