Our client is a growing and highly regarded commercial builder with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects across New South Wales. With a healthy pipeline of work and ambitious plans for future growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to play a key role in the next stage of the business's development.
Initially, you will take the lead on a commercial fit out project valued at approximately $5 million. However, this opportunity extends well beyond a single project. As the business continues to expand into larger and more complex new build developments, this role offers the chance to become a key member of the leadership team and help shape the future direction of project delivery.
As Site Manager, you will take full ownership of site operations from mobilisation through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to the highest quality standards and within budget expectations.
You will work closely with Project Managers, consultants and subcontractors while maintaining a strong site presence and fostering a positive culture focused on safety, accountability and teamwork.
• Lead all day to day site operations and programme delivery
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance across all site activities
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
• Monitor construction quality and ensure works are completed to specification
• Manage project milestones and proactively resolve site issues
• Conduct site meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
• Oversee project documentation and reporting through Procore and BuildPass
• Support successful project commissioning and handover
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager within commercial construction
• Proven experience delivering commercial fit out projects
• Exposure to new build commercial projects will be highly regarded
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety and quality management
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience using Procore, BuildPass, SignOnSite or similar construction management platforms
• Trade or tertiary qualifications in construction are advantageous
