Lead Carpenter

Job description:

• Onsite residential carpentry and construction that may extend into the basics of other trades (roofing, bricklaying etc)

• Apprentice mentoring

• Basic site admin. Safety documentation, timesheets, material quantities.

About the successful candidate:

• Experienced Carpenter minimum 10yrs qualified, in a range of carpentry/construction tasks

• Able to work independently or as part of a team

• Good interpersonal skills. Presents well, interacts with clients well, positive influence on workplace culture.

• Experience mentoring apprentices

• Ideally comfortable with basics of some other trades (minor bricklaying, roofing, drainage etc)

• Can work well with a project manager to order materials, interact with peripheral trades etc.

• Clean, thorough and detail oriented

• Enthusiastic about working on renovations, decks and pergolas, remediation work, maintenance.
