I've partnered with a Queensland head contractor with an excellent reputation in the market spanning over 20 years of proven success delivering projects up to $30m+, specialising in the commercial project market. My client has already had a successful 2025 and gearing up for a busy mid-2026 and beyond with work secured until 2029.

They operate across a range of delivering methods, with D&C being a big focus they are looking for someone with proven experience within the Commercial construction industry. Project sectors include industrial, government, education, health, apartment complexes and more.

My client is a looking for an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join their Brisbane team due to recent project wins and growth. Certificate IV in Carpentry is highly regarded.

Ideal traits the successful candidate will have:

• 1-3 + years of experience in the role.
• Hunger to learn and grow!
• Excellent ability to build rapport with others.
• Team player who loves a challenge!
• Positive, "can-do" attitude.
• Must have own car and valid driver's license

With a strong pipeline of work already under construction and due to company growth, they are looking for a Leading Hand Carpenter to join the team in their Brisbane office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a leader, self-motivated, confident, honest, reliable, and looking to grow their career to step into this role.

Your Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management & Economics, Quantity Surveying or equivalent are preferred
• Excellent communication & relationship building skills with various stakeholders (clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors etc.)
• Local experience and relationships with consultants and subcontractors
• Ideally 1-3 years in a similar role and industry experience running your own projects between $500K - $10m+
• Must have their own car and valid driver's license.
