We are looking for an experienced building leading hand/carpenter to join our team at Tazman Constructions. You will join our established team dedicated to providing the best service to our clients. The role will see you engaged in a diverse range of Architecturally designed residential and commercial construction projects across the Sydney region

Responsibilities

  • Communicate frequently and work with Tazman's project manager, contracts administrator and staff to organise and schedule trades

  • Supervising subcontractors, trade workers and daily reporting

  • Receive, secure materials and deliveries to job sites

  • Maintain site safety regulations and security

  • Expected at least 50% carpentry responsibilities daily

  • Interpreting plans and specifications for accurate project delivery

  • Base salary between $130,000 - $150,000 plus super, fully maintained vehicle, fuel and company tablet

What you need

  • Minimum 5 years experience in carpentry

  • Certificate III in Carpentry (essential)

  • Certificate IV in Building and construction or supervisor certificate will be highly favourable

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Current drivers license

  • Adaptability across residential and commercial projects

  • Ability to use or be trained in the use of construction management software, along with experience with Microsoft Project
