About Bennett Built

Bennett Built is a family-owned construction and maintenance business specialising in insurance repairs and property maintenance. We work across residential and commercial sites, delivering reliable, high-quality repairs where attention to detail and clear communication are essential.

As a family business, we understand that family and lifestyle come first. We value a positive work environment, flexibility where possible, and building a team that supports each other both on and off the job.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Site Supervisor (2IC) to assist in overseeing our day-to-day maintenance and insurance repair projects. Working closely with the business owner, you will coordinate jobs, manage trades, and ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is confident managing multiple smaller jobs rather than large-scale builds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing multiple maintenance and insurance repair jobs across various sites

  • Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers

  • Ensure works are completed on time, within scope, and to required quality standards

  • Read and interpret scopes of work, plans, and reports

  • Maintain strong WHS practices and ensure job site safety

  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and stakeholders professionally

  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress updates

  • Organise materials and scheduling of works

  • Step up to manage operations when the business owner is unavailable

Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in construction, carpentry, or maintenance

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leading hand role

  • Experience with maintenance or insurance repair work (highly regarded)

  • Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities

  • Good communication and organisational skills

  • High attention to detail and quality workmanship

  • White Card (essential)

  • Valid driver’s licence (essential)

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience

  • Work vehicle provided

  • Flexible and supportive family-run work environment

  • A business that values work-life balance and understands family commitments

  • Variety of work across maintenance and insurance projects

  • Opportunity to take on a key leadership role as the business grows
