We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our team at FlexCorp. You'll work closely with our estimators, production team, and clients to produce accurate, buildable joinery and cabinetry drawings for manufacture. Your technical expertise will be central to ensuring our custom projects are delivered to a high standard of quality.
Interpret architectural or client drawings and produce accurate shop drawings for a variety of residential and commercial projects using Cabinet Vision software
Collaborate with trade customers and end clients to translate design concepts into detailed, precise plans
Customise designs to meet client requirements and revise drawings based on feedback
Produce nesting layouts and post to CNC machines using S2M software
Review material and hardware reports and raise purchase orders with suppliers
Provide technical support and guidance to the production team relating to jobs in progress
Maintain and update project documentation and design files
Identify opportunities for design improvements and cost savings
We’re looking for someone with:
Proven experience in joinery or cabinetry drafting using Cabinet Vision (or similar) software
Trade background with a strong understanding of cabinet construction techniques
High attention to detail and a commitment to drawing accuracy
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
A positive, proactive attitude and solid work ethic
