What duties will I be expected to perform?

The level and type of tasks and responsibilities will be relevant to the position being applied for with a key focus being on (but not limited to):

• Planning and implementation of a nutritional menu.

• Have a sound understanding of the Food Safety Standards.

• Have an understanding of children's nutritional needs, including management of allergies, cultural and dietary requirements.

• Creating and maintaining collaborative and respectful partnerships with children, families, colleagues and all stakeholders.

• Maintain a safe, hygienic and positive work environment.

What Stepping Stone (SA) are looking for?

We are looking for a permanent part-time Cook for our childcare centre at Collinswood who:

• Holds an AQF Certificate III in Community Food Services or equivalent skills (preferred).

• Has experience in delivering a balanced menu for children across age groups (preferred).

• Holds or willing to hold a Working with Children Check.

• Holds or willing to hold a current Child Safe Environments.

• Holds or willing to hold a current Food Handling Certificate.

• Has an understanding of the Food Safety Standards and the Nutrition Australia Dietary Guidelines.

• Holds a current COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.

• The ability to contribute to a harmonious, professional and positive work culture.
