anzuk Early Childhood is working in partnership with ELV to support with the growth of their early learning service located in regional Victoria. The centre is brand new and seeking an experienced and passionate cook to join their team!
 
The Role
The service is seeking a cook responsible for the preparation and delivery of meals for up to 100 children per day.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and preparing nutritious, balanced meals
  • Managing kitchen operations and food safety requirements
  • Catering for dietary needs, allergies, and anaphylaxis requirements
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
 
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • Experience preparing meals in a childcare or similar setting (minimum 6 months preferred)
  • Knowledge of nutrition, allergy management, and anaphylaxis
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, families, and children
  • A reliable and professional approach to work
 
Essential Requirements
  • Food Handling Certificate 
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Working with Children Check
  • Anaphylaxis Training
  • 12 + Months Working Rights
Desirable:
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
