Major Manufacturer of Mining Equipment

Our company designs and manufactures bespoke engineered solutions primarily for crushing and grinding for the mining industry. We are a small but dynamic company that is growing fast and requires motivated individuals to join our team.

·         Mechanical Engineer

Based in Sydney, you will be reporting directly to our Engineering Manager for all aspects of the hydraulics & mechanical design of our range of equipment.

What we are looking for

·         A qualified Mechanical Engineer with practical experience in design

          and design review.

·         Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

·         Experience in working to Australian & International standards.

·         Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor & competent with Microsoft

          office products.

·         Experience with drive train technology including Gearboxes, Motors

          & Couplings.

·         Experience with Hydraulics an advantage.

·         Experience in the mining industry an advantage.

 

Responsibilities:

o    Review of company mechanical and hydraulic equipment designs, co-ordinating with our local and overseas mechanical, process & hydraulic design teams for product development and project implementation.

o    Interface with our clients and sub-suppliers to modify equipment to meet project specifications and client requests.

o    Preparation of documentation and AutoCAD drawings.

o    After-sales Support – To provide technical assistance to our Field Services team and clients of the company after project completion.
