About the Role
An established Australian engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its growing Brisbane team. Working alongside highly experienced engineers and project professionals, you'll contribute to the design, analysis, certification, and delivery of engineering solutions for a broad range of industrial clients.
This role offers excellent exposure to both design engineering and project delivery, allowing you to work across the full project lifecycle from concept development and detailed design through to inspection, certification, commissioning, and client support.
You'll be involved in technically diverse projects spanning mining, manufacturing, bulk materials handling, industrial infrastructure, utilities and resource sectors, providing outstanding opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop mechanical and structural engineering solutions for industrial projects
• Produce and review 2D and 3D engineering drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD
• Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and finite element analysis (FEA)
• Prepare technical reports, certification documentation, and engineering design packages
• Manage project deliverables while liaising with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3-5 years' experience in a Mechanical Engineering role
• Strong design engineering experience within industrial, manufacturing, or related sectors
• Experience using Strand 7, AutoCAD and/or Inventor software packages
• RPEQ accreditation or progress toward RPEQ/CPEng highly regarded
Salary & Benefits
• $140,000 - $200,000 + Superannuation
• Full-time permanent position based in Brisbane, QLD
