Position Overview

The purpose of this role is to provide engineering and technical support to the Estimating, Project and Contract Departments. As a Mechanical Engineer you will carry out mechanical engineering design on Sedatech projects and overseeing quality control and commissioning of ongoing projects.


Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of Contract / Design Documents under the direction of the Project / Engineering Manager. 

  • Development, review and coordinate engineering design deliverables including layouts and schematics, calculations including heat load estimate as defined in specific contracts and client briefs.

  • Assist in the production of Workshop Drawings.

  • Scheduling, selection and proving of HVAC equipment.

  • Attending client design meetings, presentations and services coordination meetings.

  • Participate in contract reviews and advise on engineering matters.

  • On site assistance, working with Project Teams to manage the proper and correct delivery, installation and commissioning of Sedatech projects.

  • Adhere to the Company’s HSE&Q Policy and Procedures.

  • Tender value management engagement, including client presentations and reverse briefs.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent discipline

  • Experience in Microsoft Office programmes
