Who You Are

You must hold a Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, with CPEng or RPEQ status held or obtainable.
You bring five or more years of experience in mechanical systems design and simulation within high-technology industries.
You possess strong leadership skills with a collaborative style and demonstrated experience managing an engineering team.
You hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency and can obtain any applicable security clearances.

What You Will Be Doing

Manage, mentor, and upskill a team of three mechanical engineers while driving resource planning.
Lead the hands-on design, analysis, and configuration management of mechanical components for flight vehicles.
Act as the technical subject matter expert during design reviews, non-conformance forums, and failure investigations.
Review and approve mechanical engineering designs to ensure structural integrity and optimization for manufacturing.
