Brisbane Mechanical Engineering Lead: seventy percent hands-on design, thirty percent leadership, cutting-edge flight vehicles.
  • Receive a ten percent equity component paid directly on top of your base package.

Our client is an Australian-based aerospace engineering and advanced manufacturing company specialising in bleeding-edge aerospace technologies.

Who You Are
  • You must hold a Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, with CPEng or RPEQ status held or obtainable.
  • You bring five or more years of experience in mechanical systems design and simulation within high-technology industries.
  • You possess strong leadership skills with a collaborative style and demonstrated experience managing an engineering team.
  • You hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency and can obtain any applicable security clearances.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Manage, mentor, and upskill a team of three mechanical engineers while driving resource planning.
  • Lead the hands-on design, analysis, and configuration management of mechanical components for flight vehicles.
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert during design reviews, non-conformance forums, and failure investigations.
  • Review and approve mechanical engineering designs to ensure structural integrity and optimization for manufacturing.
