We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading  manufacturer based in South Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well established manufacturing facility, supporting the reliability and performance of modern production equipment.

The Role

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production equipment and site services.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing preventative and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on industrial electrical systems and machinery
  • Troubleshooting motors, drives, PLCs, sensors and control systems
  • Responding promptly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
  • Conducting inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Assisting with equipment upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Working closely with production teams to maximise equipment reliability and efficiency
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • Current Drivers Electrical Licence
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent trade qualification
  • Previous experience within pharmaceutical, packaging or manufacturing environments would be an advantage but not essential
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
  • Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery, motors, drives and industrial control systems
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
