Maintenance Fitter – PM Shift | Food Manufacturing Full-time | $50/hr + 15% shift allowance + tool allowance

An established and fast-growing food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their onsite team in a high-volume production environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a stable, well-supported role with consistent hours and strong overtime potential.

Shift Details

Permanent PM Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Monday to Friday + overtime and occasional Saturdays (as required)

Key Responsibilities

Support production through proactive and reactive maintenance
Carry out fault finding, breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
Perform fabrication and repair work on food processing machinery
Minimise downtime and improve plant reliability
Assist with site upgrades and continuous improvement projects
Ensure compliance with safety procedures including LOTO, PPE, and guarding
Liaise with the Maintenance Manager and production team to prioritise work

About You

Trade qualified – Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) or Fitter & Turner
Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience
Skilled in fabrication, machining, and TIG welding
Experience within food manufacturing or production environments highly regarded
Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused mindset
Forklift licence (LF) – desirable but not essential
Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
Full working rights in Australia
