Due to increased resourcing requirements across current and upcoming projects, our client is seeking Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to join their Perth based engineering team.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a major iron ore Brownfields project, delivering key materials handling solutions within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

About the Role

Based in Perth, you will play a key role in delivering mechanical engineering solutions across large-scale mining projects. You will be involved in design, technical delivery, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical design and technical solutions for materials handling systems

• Support project delivery across major Brownfields mining projects

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and specifications

• Provide technical input across project phases, including occasional site visits

About You

• 7–10+ years’ experience in the mining sector

• Strong experience in materials handling systems (iron ore preferred)

• Exposure to Brownfields project environments

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

• Willingness to undertake occasional site travel
