Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa.

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Painter to join our Engineering department. This position is full time.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Undertaking internal painting duties throughout the resort – inside guest rooms, restaurants and other buildings.
  • Undertaking external painting duties throughout the resort – buildings and walkways.
  • Monitoring and reporting on any areas where improvements are required.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a commercial environment (hotel or resort preferred).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Current manual driver’s license.
  • Flexibility to work weekends when required.
  • Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (desired).
  • Building & Construction card (desired).
