⭐️Creating freshly made, healthy and nutritious, in-house snacks and meals for the children, that is an integral component of our service.

⭐️ We are looking for a qualified Cook/Chef with menu planning and ordering experience.

⭐️ Part-time role during day-time hours only.

⭐️ Become known and valued by the children and staff, and become a part of our community.

⭐️ Run your own kitchen for the Brightwater Centre.

⭐️ Menu planning done centrally.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Someone with excellent skills and experience, a qualified Cook with ordering experience.

• Has completed the Food Safety Supervisor Course or is able to complete, and holds or is able to attain a current Food Handling Certificate. 

• Has demonstrated knowledge of the Food Safety Standards and ability to implement the program.

• Hold or be willing to obtain a current Queensland Blue Card.

• Has a strong commitment to offering an interesting and nutritious menu to our children. 

• Be professional and highly motivated with excellent communication skills.

• Applicants must be available to work on 5 days of the week.
