Lady Lola is looking for a Experienced Chef who cooks with conviction.
We’re a chic 50 seater bistro in Dunsborough — European at heart, South West in soul. Since 2020, we’ve become the kind of place people drive to for. The produce is exceptional. The standards are high. The ego is low.
You’ll be part of a kitchen where creativity is encouraged and craft is celebrated. Where the menu changes because the season does, not because a consultant said so. Where every plate you send is a small act of storytelling.
We’re not just looking for a chef. We’re looking for someone who gets the bigger picture — who understands that a great restaurant is also a brand, and who wants to be part of building something lasting in one of Australia’s most beautiful regions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
— Lead all kitchen operations, from prep to service, maintaining the quality and identity of the Lady Lola menu
— Collaborate with the owners on seasonal menu development that celebrates local, sustainably sourced produce
— Build, mentor and inspire a small, tight kitchen team — setting the culture as much as the menu
— Own food cost, waste minimisation and kitchen systems with a hands-on approach
— Contribute to oversee the Lola at Home takeaway offering and deli components as required
— Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen discipline
WHO YOU ARE
— An experienced chef with strong bistro or modern Australian/European pedigree — you know your way around a pass
— Someone who understands that food tells a story, and who cares deeply about that story
— A natural leader who lifts the people around them without ego getting in the way
— Curious, seasonal and produce-obsessed — you’d rather forage than rely on a supplier list
— Aware of what a brand is, and what it means to cook as a custodian of one
— Someone who wants to live in the South West — not just work here. This place gets into your blood.
