The Role
We’re looking for a Chef to join our production kitchen in Glenroy. This is a hands-on role preparing food for delivery to funeral homes and cemeteries across Melbourne. You’ll work as part of a small, supportive team focused on consistency, quality, and efficiency.
What You’ll Enjoy
Monday to Friday
Early starts (typically 6am–2pm) – Get your afternoons back
A calm, respectful work environment with a strong sense of purpose
A steady and predictable workflow – no restaurant chaos
Key Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of hot and cold menu items to a high standard
Ensure consistency in presentation, portioning, and quality
Follow production schedules and maintain food safety standards
Support the team with general kitchen duties, cleaning, and organisation
Support dispatch and delivery logistics
About You
Qualified Chef or Cook with strong prep and production experience
High attention to detail and pride in food presentation
Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
Understanding of food safety and hygiene best practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
