New Northcote Brewhouse in Burwood East in looking for a part time or full time chef to join the team.
We're currently looking for passionate and motivated Cooks/Chefs to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis, with the potential for full-time opportunities for the right candidate.
We’re seeking a skilled and driven Chef with strong technical cooking skills, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen.
Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes including grills, pizzas, burgers, share plates, and seasonal specials
Run key kitchen sections such as grill, fryers, and pass
Maintain high standards in food hygiene, presentation, and portion control
Contribute to menu development and implementation of seasonal specials
Manage stock levels including ordering, receiving, rotation, and stocktakes
Supervise and support junior kitchen staff
Ensure compliance with OH&S and food safety standards
Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
At least 2–3 years’ experience in a busy commercial kitchen
Strong skills across grill, fryer, and pizza sections
Experience managing kitchen operations and supervising staff
Ability to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
