Ischia Restaurant is an Italian restaurant serving traditional dishes and authentic woodfired pizza in the laid back surroundings of Beaufort Street in Highgate, and in Claisebrook in Perth.

We are currently looking for qualified and talented Chefs for a full-time position to work with our kitchen team.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Ensure food preparation and presentation adheres to company standards
Work effectively and efficiently within the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service and products to guests
Demonstrate a working understanding of food, hygiene and safety principles.
Adhere to House policies and procedures, including OH&S legislation.

Skills and Experience:

Related commercial cookery qualification is preferred and or at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
Meticulous and have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Safe and accurate knife skills
Experience in pizza making
Knowledge and experience in variety of different cooking methods
Flexibility with working hours including evenings and weekends
Ability to contribute to planning for menu specials
