Pastry Chef

We are seeking an individual who loves all things sweet and will love our kitchen. The successful candidate will be baking cakes and cookies using quality ingredients with care and consistency for the cafe as well as for our wholesale clients.

The candidate will need to be a qualified pastry chef with some experience in a catering company and/or bakery of good standing. A strong interest in and knowledge of Melbourne's food/cafe scene will be an advantage.

The position is a full-time salaried one. Part-time or casual applicants with at least 20 hours/ week available may be considered.

The Red Door Corner Store is a destination breakfast spot located just off High Street in Northcote. In addition to the cafe, the company comprises a boutique catering and wholesale cake arm.
