Zaika Indian Restaurant needs a full-time cook with relevant experience to join our team and commence work soonest possible.

We are looking for someone who meets the following expectations:

* Preferably (not necessarily) an Australian citizen/permanent resident

* Experience in preparing Indian cuisine

* Has a high standard of food presentation and takes pride in his/her culinary skills

* Ability to guide and train junior cooks in food preparation techniques

* Has a passion for producing quality food to meet customer demand

* Be available for work on most days, including weekends

* Be able to communicate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies

* Fanatical about a tidy and clean hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are maintained

* Has a happy personality that is maintained under pressure

* Be a team player and has long-term intention to work with us
