Raw Sugar Cafe is a well-established and busy café located in the heart of Taree, NSW. For more than 20 years, we have built a strong reputation for serving quality all-day breakfast, delicious lunch options, great coffee, and exceptional customer service.
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cook, with the potential for a Head Chef position to be offered to the right candidate.
Enjoy great work-life balance with daytime hours only – approximately 6:30am to 2:30pm, with no split shifts.
Working within our small, fast-paced kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality café-style meals while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.
Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items
Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
Work efficiently in a busy café environment
Assist with stock control and kitchen organisation
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
Contribute positively to a supportive team culture
Previous cooking experience is essential
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Available to work weekends
Passion for producing quality food and delivering excellent customer experiences
Daytime hours only (approximately 6:30am–2:30pm)
No split shifts
