We’re looking for a few kitchen legends to join the team at Hiker Brewing Co.

With our brand-new kitchen launching at our Salisbury brewery in late June, we’re building a reliable team focused on delivering great food, great service, and a great experience for our customers.

👣 About Us

Hiker Brewing Co. is an independent Brisbane brewery known for quality beer, relaxed venues, and a strong community atmosphere. With venues in Salisbury and East Brisbane, we’re continuing to grow while staying true to what we do best: great hospitality without the ego.

🔥 Available Roles

• 2 x Part-Time Cooks (20–30 hours per week)

• 1 x Casual Cook (weekends, events and leave coverage)

• Opportunity for additional hours and career progression as we grow

These roles will primarily be based at our Salisbury venue, but flexible for occasional shifts at our East Brisbane location.

You will report to the Venue Operations Manager. During service, you’ll take direction from the Shift Manager and be trusted to run an efficient, organised kitchen.

🍴 What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and plating menu items to a consistent standard

• Running kitchen service, often independently or with junior support

• Managing prep and service flow efficiently

• Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards

• Assisting with stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation

• Working collaboratively with front-of-house staff to deliver a great customer experience

👀 What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, QSR operation, café, food truck or similar environment

• Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and consistency

• Good problem-solving skills and initiative

• Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods

• Reliable availability across nights and weekends

• A positive attitude and strong communication skills
