Calling for a full time Chef De Partie! 

Its an exciting time for us here at Belmont 16s Sailing Club. Our 23 million dollar renovations are complete and we are now one of the largest and leading food and entertainment venues in the Hunter and Newcastle area. 

Our food outlets range from burgers, cook to order, elevated dining to large functions seating anywhere up to 600 people and soon, we will have a seasonal contemporary style restaurant bespoke to the area. It’s an exciting,  fast paced environment perfect for developing and challenging your skillset. 

About the role:

This position oversees and is responsible for the workings of any one of the outlets within Belmont 16s and is a leader, Demi Chefs, Cooks, Apprentices/Trainee and Kitchen Hands.

Supported by, and working closely with the Junior Sous/Sous and Executive Sous, the Chef-de-Partie is accountable for maintaining a high quality of product and level of service, in alignment with food and wage costs for any designated outlet. 

About you:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications may include a hospitality diploma or a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery

  • Ideally, at least 2 to 3 years of experience working in a similar role.
