Club Southside is a vibrant and welcoming venue known for great food, friendly service, and a strong team culture. We operate both a busy café and restaurant and we are looking for a passionate Chef to join our kitchen team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Chef who is flexible and enjoys working across both our café and restaurant operations. With no two days being the same, you'll play an important role in supporting service, food preparation, and maintaining high kitchen standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Food preparation and cooking
• Supporting service in both the café and restaurant as required
• Preparing and presenting quality meals consistently
• Assisting with stock control, rotation, and ordering
• Monitoring portion control and minimising waste
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen
• Following food safety and workplace health & safety procedures
• Working collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods

ABOUT YOU

• Minimum 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen
• Experience in a café, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong understanding of food safety and workplace health & safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, positive, and motivated attitude
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings

SHIFTS & AVAILABILITY

• Casual or Part-Time opportunity available
• Morning, day, evening, and late-night shifts
• Weekend availability essential
