At the heart of Hotel Gosford, you will find Earl's Kitchen. The philosophy of Earl's Kitchen is all about serving up classic dishes, but with a twist. The menu features a selection of traditional pub meals, fresh salads, locally sourced seafood and tender steaks.

We are looking for a passionate, driven and committed professional who wants to join our team and create something unique, positive, and long lasting on the Central Coast.

The roles involve but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Head Chef with the day-to-day operations and working independently

  • Responsible for setting up sections and maintaining prep.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise duties before and during service

  • Maintaining and managing high standards of cleanliness and food safety

  • Maintaining consistently high standards of all food produced

  • General food preparation and service

  • Inspecting food products and supplies as needed

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of employment experience as a Cook or Chef.

  • Able to work alongside the head chef.

  • Able to show cooking, organisation, and cleaning skills.

  • Ability to work as part of a busy team and open kitchen.

  • Great focus, positive attitude and well organised.

  • Able to work on evenings weekends.

  • Good English communication skills.
