About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Chef or Cook who is passionate about creating wonderful meals for our guests in beautiful Mission Beach. Whether you hold formal qualifications or have built your craft through years of hands-on experience, if you love food and take pride in what you put on the plate, we want to hear from you.

This is a casual or part time position, with a genuine pathway to full time for the right person.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and executing high-quality meals and dishes to a consistently excellent standard

• Working independently but at the direction of the Head Chef

• Contributing to a positive, collaborative kitchen environment

• Helping deliver a memorable dining experience for our guests

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Chef, Cook, or equivalent hands-on culinary role

• Permanent Australian work rights, OR a valid visa with at least 6 months availability to work

• Ability to produce great food unassisted, following the Head Chef's direction

• A positive attitude and genuine passion for food

• Be living in Mission Beach or surrounding area or be able to relocate

Formal qualifications are not essential — your experience, skill, and enthusiasm matter most.

You must have or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Handlers Certificate.

The Environment

This is not a high pressure, fast paced kitchen. We focus mostly on guest-only meals. If you're chasing the thrill of a busy restaurant service, this probably isn't the right fit — but if you're someone who takes genuine pride in producing beautiful food in a calm, focused environment, you'll love it here.

This role does not provide staff accommodation nor is this a role that will lead to Sponsorship.
