Monday to Friday | 9:30am – 6:00pm

At Cater Care, every meal is an opportunity to enhance wellbeing and bring comfort to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated Chef to join our team at Highvale Retirement Village in Glen Waverley, where you will prepare fresh, nutritious meals that support health, happiness, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for residents and staff
  • Assist with bulk meal preparation and daily kitchen operations
  • Deliver friendly and efficient service
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
  • Follow food safety and workplace health standards
  • Prepare texture-modified meals with care and attention

About You

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a similar role (aged care experience desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and passion for creating great food
