About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our talented culinary team at Kadota' in the picturesque town of Daylesford, Victoria. As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional dining experiences that showcase our commitment to locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our renowned hospitality establishment. SPONSORSHIP will only be considered for serious and committed chefs, we would need to work with you for 6 months before committing to sponsorship.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and cooking a diverse range of dishes using the freshest local produce

2. Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop innovative seasonal menus that delight our guests

3. Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained in the kitchen

4. Participating in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies

5. Contributing to the overall smooth running and efficiency of the kitchen operation

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Chef in a high-quality restaurant or hospitality setting

2. Strong technical cooking skills and a passion for creating visually appealing, flavourful dishes

3. Excellent time manaement and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment

4. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to train and motivate a team

5. A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

6. Creativity and a willingness to experiment with new ingredients and cooking techniques

7. Qualifications in Culinary Arts or equivalent industry experience
