We are looking for an Experienced Chef to join our talented team. If you have expertise in catering, functions, or large-scale food operations, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing business.

About the Role:
This hands-on role is perfect for an experienced Chef, ready to take the next step in their career. Supporting the kitchen team with the preparation of ingredients for large-scale catering operations. You will have the opportunity to showcase  your culinary skills and develop your managerial capabilities.

As an Experience Chef, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in preparing exquisite food items, including finger food and grazing platters.

  • Ensuring all culinary creations meet and exceed Elizabeth Andrews' exceptional standards.

  • Work efficiently to meet daily production schedules.

  • Perform mise en place tasks, including chopping, portioning, and preparing ingredients.

  • Strict adherence to food safety and hygiene procedures.

  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

  • Assisting in the receiving and storage of food items.

  • Collaborating seamlessly with our talented kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation.

  • Proactively maintaining kitchen equipment to ensure its reliability.

  • Complying with all safety protocols and guidelines.


To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A passion for food and a strong desire to continuously refine your culinary skills.

  • A diploma or certificate in commercial cookery is preferred but optional.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen is valuable.

  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene procedures.

  • A team-oriented mindset and practical collaboration skills.

  • Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A positive attitude and a commitment to personal and professional growth.

Roster Pattern:

  • Day Shifts Only : between 6am and 4pm.

  • Consistent working hours with no weekend shifts.
