Are you a passionate chef who thrives in a fast-paced café environment? We're looking for a talented and motivated Full-Time Chef to join our growing kitchen team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy, community-focused café serving high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes, while contributing to menu development and daily kitchen operations.
As our Chef, you will be responsible for delivering consistently excellent food, maintaining high kitchen standards, and supporting the ongoing growth of our food offering.
Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast and lunch menu items
Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
Assist with menu planning, seasonal updates, and daily specials
Oversee food preparation & stock rotation
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
Assist with ordering, stock management, and minimising waste
Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams
Qualified Chef with previous experience in a commercial kitchen
Strong breakfast and lunch service experience
Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance requirements
Positive attitude with a strong team focus
Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering high standards
