Little Sutton Bakehouse is a well-known and well-loved local bakery\cafe in the village of Sutton, a well established town in the Yass valley N.S.W.
The bakery\cafe producers a wide variety of sourdough breads, cakes and has a diverse Ala carte menu including breakfast, lunch, pizza and function offerings. Apart from the bakehouse’s renowned gourmet pies and sausage rolls our cafe menu offers fresh and vibrant options that are available morning, lunch and afternoon for grab & go or dine-in.
Here at the bakehouse our modern Australian menu involves dishes using the latest trends in platting techniques and methods of cookery, with recipes using high quality local produce with an emphasis on making dishes from scratch to limit convenience products.
The kitchen is well equipped and organised with plenty of work and storage space and top of the range, well maintained equipment to easily produce volume needed on a week to week basis.
We have a stable and respectful work environment where employees can learn and grow not only within themselves but within the business to. Building a team with a good camaraderie this is a hands on roll and you will have the opportunity to showcase your talent.
To be successful
Tradesperson certificates ( Cert III Commercial cookery, Cert IV Hospitality)
Food safety certificate ( SITXFSA001, SITXFSA002 )
- Creativity in menu items and menu planning including food costing
- Strong service experience in a fast paced Ala carte environment with high volume preparation
- Competencies in the cooking of meats, egg dishes, farinaceous and cooking methods
- Be hard working, reliable, dedicated and be able to adaptable to schedule changes
- Oven and commercial equipment experience
- Well organised and consistent and be able to work with well within a team environment.
- Experience in a similar role minimum 3 years
