Private Chef

PLAY Performance is seeking an experienced Private Chef to support the Director with high‑quality, personalised meal preparation. This role is ideal for a chef who can deliver consistently exceptional food with a focus on nutrition, presentation and reliability.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a high‑performing executive who values professionalism, efficiency and a refined dining experience. We are open to appointing this position on a full‑time or part‑time basis, depending on the successful candidate’s availability and experience.

Key Responsibilities

•        Plan and prepare daily meals tailored to dietary preferences and nutritional goals

•        Create weekly menus and manage all food sourcing, shopping and stock rotation

•        Maintain a clean, organised and compliant kitchen environment

•        Prepare meals for both home and office settings as required

•        Ensure confidentiality, discretion and professionalism

•        Manage dietary adjustments, special requests and last‑minute changes with ease

•        Oversee food safety, storage and quality control

About You

•        Proven experience as a private chef, or restaurant chef

•        Strong understanding of nutrition, balanced meals and premium ingredients

•        Ability to work autonomously with a high level of organisation

•        Calm, adaptable and solutions‑focused under changing schedules

•        Excellent communication and time‑management skills

•        High standards of presentation and attention to detail

•        Current driver’s licence and ability to travel between locations when required

•        Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct
