We are looking for a casual chef or chefs. The right candidate can expect 35-40 hours per week. Alternatively the role could be split over two or more candidates for 15-20 hours.

Duties include:

  • Assisting the head chef in providing an efficient service.

  • Compliance with the Food Safety act and our food safety system.

  • Ensure the highest quality, consistency and standard of food product is served in all outlets.

The successful applicants must have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Be honest and reliable with a positive approach to service excellence.

  • Australian work authorisation required at the time of application.

  • Minimum five years' experience in a commercial kitchen

  • Experience in pub/bistro style cuisine is essential for this chef role.

  • Minimum five years' experience specifically in club or pub kitchen environments.

  • Be able to work as part of a team.

  • Multitask and work well under pressure; time management is essential.

  • Be neat, tidy and well presented at all times.

  • Able to work on a flexible roster which includes weekends and nights.

  • Various shift times that could fit as a first or second job
