The Position
As the Chef de Partie at Saint Haven's Wholefoods Restaurant, you will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to support the end-to-end delivery of our seasonal menu and assist across all aspects of restaurant operations. As part of Australia's leading luxury wellness club, the Wholefoods Restaurant will be open for breakfast and lunch service seven days per week, with take-home meal options and bespoke themed social nights.
Our Organic Wholefoods Restaurant is a key component of the Saint Haven member experience.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Assisting the kitchen management team to ensure the quality and consistency of our product is maintained to the standards expected.
Adhering to the kitchen's hygiene processes and procedures and assisting with hygiene records.
Maintenance of stock levels with regards to prep and ensuring the management team are aware of any ordering requirements.
To be successful in this role, we require someone with the following skills and characteristics
1 to 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or similar level of responsibility in a kitchen environment
Have passion for organic, nutrient dense wholefoods and the delivery of 5-star fine dining experience
Organised, a good communicator and problem solver and have a hands-on approach
Understands that every interaction and dining experience contributes to the broader Saint Haven mission of supporting members to live healthier, happier, and more balanced lives.
All required certificates and education completed
Pro-active, an ability to spot opportunities efficiently with a positive, solutions-focused approach
Capable of managing multiple tasks and demonstrated experience working in dynamic environments
